On 19 October, the General Consulate will be physically present in Fortaleza to collect Dutch passport requests.
Which steps you need to take in order to have an appointment?
1. You must to be available to appear in person in Fortaleza on October 19th.

4. On the day of your appointment, please bring all the original documents with their respective copies. We will collect your fingerprints, signature and payment.
5. When ready, your passport will be sent to you via SEDEX.
Attention: There is a fee of 23 euros for each document request made during a visit by the consular team. In addition, there is a fee equivalent to 10 euros per address for orders that will be delivered by post. - Please note that the payment can only be done with a credit or debit card (no cash or pix allowed). Because it is a Dutch system, the total price is charged in Euros. Which means you will need a Dutch card or a card that can make international transactions.

Naast dat ze het in het Engels publiceren snap ik niet dat ze het exclusief op Facebook publiceren.

Ik heb mij al tientallen keren op de steeds nieuwe nieuwsbrieven en e-mail lijsten geregistreerd. Daar komt dan weer niets op binnen.

Nou ja. Het staat hier weer.

Via onderstaande link worden ook aankondigingen gedaan, het bezoek begin deze maand in Parana stond er keurig vermeld maar het bezoek ijn Fortaleza (nog) niet.

Overigens, je kunt zeggen wat je wilt maar die website Nederlanders in het buitenland is gewoon uitstekend. Want wat was het een puinhoop vroeger. En dan heb ik het over niet meer dan vijf jaar geleden.

Het simpel invullen van een paar vragen laat je tegenwoordig het proces zien en de benodigde documenten, je hoeft niet meer hele pagina´s te lezen en af te vinken wat er nodig is. Recent was er een aankondiging dat de je de verklaring Nederlandsschap weer via mail kon aanvragen, heb toen eventje gekeken hoe of wat er voor nodig was.

Enige probleem is de betaling heb geen buitenlandse betaalkaart en pix of contant wordt niet geaccepteerd.

Contante betaling enkel mogelijk met lokale valuta (Reais/BRL). Bij betaling met een betaalpas of creditcard kan uw bank extra kosten in rekening brengen. Deze kosten komen bovenop het te betalen bedrag.

Ik weet dat ik destijds, vier jaar geleden gewoon contant betaald heb om het simpele feit dat hey de Nederlandse overheid niets aangaat met welke financiële instituties ik hier zaken doe.
